Climbing Wall: Val Vista Park, Pleasanton

Kids love to climb!  The climbing wall at Val Vista Park in Pleasanton is one of the best free outdoor structures in the region.

For others in the San Francisco East Bay, along the 680 corridor… Outdoor Climbing Walls.

Looks like it’s almost already too small for them. Time to move on to bigger walls 🙂

    1. Luckily, there are some great climbing gyms in the area. 🙂

Do you have any ropes courses in your area? D loves getting all geared up and traversing around the treetops.

I didn’t get details, but look into these:

If you’ve never done one, it’s a blast. There are at least 2 places in Budapest with these challenge courses, and D and I hit them several times a year.

        1. Awesome! I’ll look into each if these. Thanks! We live the climbing gym (so many good ones around here), so maybe this would be a fun alternative.

Looks fun. Never had these sort of places as a child. Had to make do with trees.
