I know! When I was a kid, we had to find hills on our own to ride around on. Also, when I was little, we all rode around as a pack… boys and girls. I think it’s kind of strange that I so rarely see girls out at the BMX parks.

I was a tomboy growing up so I know what you mean. Given all the athletic programs available to girls today, I’m surprised you don’t see more girls at the BMX parks.

I do appreciate that we have a couple BMX parks and many skate parks nearby. They are such a fun alternatives to the standard park structures and paths, and they teach the kids skills that are useful when mountain biking on trails.
